This is the very first post of the RLS in Central France blog! We are going to walk with two donkeys on Sunday to inaugurate the new Route. The whole enterprise has been created in conjunction with the arts association at St Thibault, Les Biquins. They will be in Sancerre on Sunday. It is a simple attempt to publicise Robert Louis Stevenson’s connection with the Medieval hilltop town and the river Loire and the railway that pass by down in the valley.

I shall be hoping to develop this blog over the coming weeks and years to create something a little special. A little different. But for now, this first post – by way of learning how to post a blog – is a rather exciting development! Stay with me. Walk with the donkeys. There will be pictures…
